Protected, Cared For, Reunited

When their person made the brave decision to change her life, Atticus and Miss Sampson needed a safe place to land.

These two senior cats came into PAWSS care during a period of transition, so their mom could focus on finding safety and stability while knowing her beloved companions were protected. One of our dedicated Guardians welcomed both cats into her home, keeping them together for six months while their person rebuilt her footing.

During their time in care, Atticus and Miss Sampson received needed oral surgeries to improve their comfort and long-term health. They were surrounded by patience, consistency, and gentle care.

Today, Atticus and Miss Sampson have been reunited with their mom and are living in a shared sober living environment filled with supportive humans and plenty of extra love. Their mom is doing well, and her daughter was overjoyed to have her family — cats included — together again.
