Back Where She Belongs

When Cache came into PAWSS care, her mom was doing the hard work of getting back on her feet and finding stable housing. The hardest part was being apart.

For four months, Cache stayed in a loving, attentive foster home where she was never short on companionship. She made friends with curious kittens, went on plenty of walks, and settled into a rhythm that kept her happy and confident while her mom worked toward stability.

When it was finally time for reunion, Cache was overjoyed. She’s back with her mom now — safe, settled, and clearly right where she belongs. Seeing them together again was a reminder of why this work matters: temporary care can make all the difference when someone is trying to rebuild their life without losing the family they love.
